Exquisitely Designed. Uniquely Handcrafted.

BarnWood Pens LLC was founded in 2007 by John Stuart. John took his hobby of pen turning and expanded it into an artisan line of products using reclaimed barn wood.

What started out as a hobby of pen turning has blossomed into a craft line of household utensils, picture frames, fountain pens, and more.

In the Beginning

This is the barn that started it all. Demolished in 1984, the owners kept the remnants of this dairy barn. It was located on Garrison Hollow Road in Salem, Indiana (Washington County).

Our Products

To say we have pens is an understatement! We have roller ball pens, fountain pens, click pens, twist pens. Then, there are writing pencils and drawing pencils. Plus keychains, screwdrivers, knifes and more!

Where to Buy

We set up at the New Albany Farmers Market each Saturday during their summer hours (8 AM til 12 noon). In the fall, we will attend a few craft fairs leading up to Christmas.
